MQ
Hey There! I'm Mier.
I'm currently a Master’s student at New York University, studying Learning Technology and Experience Design, graduating in May 2025.
My journey to UX
Before stepping into UX, I pursued my undergraduate degree in Economics. While it may seem like a completely different world, it actually shaped how I think—giving me business awareness, strategic problem-solving skills, and a data-driven mindset that naturally translated into UX.
I’ve always looked around my life and thought, "What could be better?" That urge to turn ideas into reality led me to UX, where I found the perfect balance between creativity, problem-solving, and human understanding.
What truly drew me in wasn’t just analyzing data—it was understanding the people behind it. How do they interact with products? What drives their decisions? UX became the space where I could bridge data with human insights and design experiences that truly make a difference.

Design with Empathy
I naturally have a deep sense of empathy, which helps me observe, listen, and understand people’s emotions and perspectives. This ability has been at the heart of my UX journey—uncovering unspoken frustrations, identifying real user needs, and designing experiences that truly support people.
My curiosity for psychology has helped me design more intuitive and human-centered experiences. Exploring areas like cognitive psychology, behavioral science, and emotional design allows me to apply theories and principles to ensure designs feel natural, meaningful, and seamless.
Simple is more
I find beauty in simple and neat and I believe great design should feel effortless—where every element has a clear purpose. A well-structured experience isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about creating a natural, seamless flow that guides users intuitively.
To me, simplicity isn’t about taking things away—it’s about making sure what’s there truly matters.
